The Starting Point

A Brand New Account, Built From Zero

OK Tire’s Calgary location came to Digital Ultras with no structured paid search presence and an underused Google Business Profile. There was no historical campaign data, no conversion tracking baseline, and no local search momentum to build on — the account was started completely fresh in mid-February 2026.

The brief was straightforward: build a Google Ads account that could reliably generate calls and leads, while growing Business Profile visibility in a competitive Calgary tire and auto market — fast enough to show real ROI within the first quarter.

Account Structure

Built separate campaigns for each service — tire change, wheel alignment, oil change, brake service — with tightly themed ad groups and exact/phrase match keywords targeting Calgary-specific search intent.

GMB Optimization

Completed all Business Profile sections, added service area, uploaded photos, enabled booking, set up Q&A, and launched a weekly post schedule to keep the profile active and visible in local search.

Conversion Tracking

Implemented call tracking and form submission tracking via Google Tag Manager — giving full visibility into which ads and keywords were generating real leads and booked appointments.

Continuous Optimization

Weekly bid adjustments, negative keyword expansion, ad copy A/B testing, and quality score improvements — reducing cost per conversion from $24.70 in March to $3.60 in June, an 85% reduction.
